Spruce Mountain grabbed a 2-0 lead less than five minutes into the game, but Gray-New Gloucester rallied to earn a 2-2 tie in a field hockey game Friday in Jay.
Aisla Armandi opened the scoring, then set up a goal by Alaina Kachnovich.
Gray-New Gloucester (6-4-1) answered with goals by Abby Lacombe and Kenlie Nadeau late in the third quarter. Lacombe assisted on Nadeau’s goal.
The Phoenix are now 9-2-1.
HALL-DALE/MONMOUTH 6, WELLS 0: Hannah Rauch recorded two goals and an assist, leading the Bulldogs (7-3-1) over the Warriors (1-10-1) in Farmingdale.
Maddie Coro, Abby Labonte, Sidney Kelleher and Natalie James also scored. Hall-Dale goalie Maia Cote didn’t have to make a save.
Carys Ramsey had 18 saves for Wells.
