Jacob Gibbs scored the tying goal just before halftime and Serogzha Bezehnar netted a second-half goal as Leavitt earned a 2-1 win over Erskine Academy in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference boys soccer match Wednesday in Turner.

Antonio Peralta recorded an assist for Leavitt (9-3), which entered the game ranked No. 3 in Class B South Heal points. The top four teams will play at home in the regional quarterfinals.

Wyatt Michaud scored for Erskine (6-4-3).

Luke Horn stopped 12 shots for the Hornets. Bryce St. Onge of Erskine made 10 saves.

MT. ABRAM 6, BUCKFIELD 1: Jamie Hering and Will Swain both scored twice for the Roadrunners (7-3-2) in a victory over the Bucks (7-5-1) in Buckfield.

Killian Pillsbury and Brennan Mitchell chipped in with a goal apiece.

Aidan Stoodley netted a goal for Buckfield, assisted by Austin Verrill.

Owen Cook and Ben Beaulier combined to make three saves for the Roadrunners. Buckfield’s Neil Haylock stopped 19 shots.

RICHMOND 4, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 1: Cody Fournier scored in each half as the Bobcats (5-7-1) defeated the Phoenix (1-10-1) in Richmond.

Elijah Hackett and Liam Dufresne each added a goal and Sully McDaniel had two assists. One of Fournier’s goals was a penalty kick.

Wyatt Foss converted a penalty kick for Spruce Mountain.

Richmond keeper David Edwards turned aside five shots, while Spruce Mountain’s Blake Gemelli made four saves.

EDWARD LITTLE 5, BREWER 0: Mudasir Hassan scored twice and set up a goal, leading the Red Eddies (4-4-3) past the Witches (2-9-1) in Auburn.

Khalid Mohamed and Will Wallingford each added a goal and an assist. Ngengele Adolphe was the other goal scorer.

EL keeper Max Kimble faced only one shot.

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 10, TELSTAR 0: Addison Libby paced the Falcons (4-8) with a hat trick and two assists in a win over the Rebels (0-13) in Rumford.

Melina Byam potted two goals and notched an assist. Layla Buotte, Maddy Brown and Morgan Robin each had a goal and an assist, and Addison Tidswell and Emma Williamson also scored.

Emily Gilbert stopped one shot for Mountain Valley. Telstar’s Madelyn Cooley made 19 saves.
