Leksi Langevin recorded a hat trick as Edward Little/Leavitt/Poland/Oxford Hills shut out Portland/Deering/South Portland/Cape Elizabeth/Waynflete, 5-0, in a girls hockey game Wednesday at Norway Savings Bank Arena in Auburn.
Kylie Dulac added a goal and two assists, and Aubrey Fortin also scored. Red Hornets goalie Paige Fecteau stopped all 17 shots she faced.
Mya Clark made 28 saves for the Portland co-op (2-2).
The Red Hornets are 4-0.
BRUNSWICK 7, LEWISTON 0: Solveig Ledwick scored five goals and set up another as the Dragons (2-2) beat Lewiston/Lisbon/Monmouth/Morse/Mt. Ararat/Oak Hill (0-4) at The Colisee.
Gillian Countway chipped in with a goal and an assist, Sydney Perham also scored, and Hensleigh Labonte made 14 saves.
BOYS BASKETBALL
RANGELEY 53, TEMPLE ACADEMY 52: Keegan O’Neil put up 16 points and Kaysyn Woike recorded a double-double as the Lakers opened the season with a one-point win over the Bereans in Rangeley.
Woike finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Kaleb Thompson also scored 13 points for Rangeley.
Timeo Lepaix led the Bereans with 16 points, while Sam Frank scored nine and Tyler Barber and Knowlen Dixon added eight apiece.
