Five-year NBA veteran Skal Labissiere scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Capital City Go-Go halted a franchise record nine-game winning streak for the Maine Celtics with a 111-77 NBA G League victory Friday afternoon in Washington, D.C.
Maine shot just 38.7 percent (29 of 75) from the field, including 22.9 percent from 3-point range (8 of 35), and committed 21 turnovers. The 77 points were the second fewest for the Celtics this season, and a franchise record for points allowed by Capital City.
Three players scored in double figures for Maine. Bench player Stefan Todorovic led the way with 16 points, Kendall Brown finished with 13 and Max Shulga had 12.
The Celtics end the Tip-Off Tournament portion of their schedule with a home game at 1 p.m. Sunday against the league leading Raptors 905.
