DEAR SUN SPOTS: I am looking for a free knitting group to join this winter. Do you have any leads in the Rolodex? — No name, no town

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Thank you to the ladies who paid for our lunches at Lotus Restaurant last Friday. We are two veterans and we definitely will pay it forward. We go to this restaurant a couple times a month and will treat some diners like you treated us when we return! You are so kind. — Paul and Bill, no town

ANSWER: It’s a great time of year to be a restaurant angel. If you haven’t done this for someone yet, you must! Be sure to share this feel-good experience with all of us when you do.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I want to thank the person who told me my vehicle’s headlight was out when I was in the Walmart parking lot last Friday night. It was raining very hard yet he walked over in the rain to let me know. I didn’t realize it was out. — Myra, Lewiston

ANSWER: That was a bad night to be out and about. I’m glad you’re safe and I hope the bulb has been replaced now.
