Lewiston City Hall will be the scene of a red hot basketball game this evening. The opposing teams are the alumni of Lewiston High and the team representing the school. While it looks as if the high school men would be outweighed, they should have a little advantage in condition on account of regular practice.

Webber of the Edward Little team will referee and “Bill” Carrigan will umpire. The game will start at 8 o’clock and will be followed by a dance.

The alumni team will include Kavanaugh, Lynch, Mahoney, Wessenger, McCarty, Hoy and Mileau; and the school team, Case, Tapley, Pettingill, Longley, O’Brien and Walsh.

Farmington residents celebrated the 10th Chester Greenwood Day on Sunday, held annually on the first day of winter. A high school marching band provided the beat for the pair carrying the banner during the afternoon parade. Other activities held in honor of Farmington’s earmuff inventor included an old-fashioned Christmas party, the Workshop Run and the Greenwood Derby.
