Auburn firefighters clean snow Monday morning from corrugated drain pipes on that were delivered by an Auburn Public Works Department cherry picker. Three pipes were unloaded and pulled into the Ingersoll Turf Facility at Pettengill Park in Auburn where firefighter candidates will crawl through them as part of a physical agility course. Candidates will wear a 48-pound vest that resembles the weight of the required personal protective equipment firefighters wear. Candidates must complete the course in under 12 minutes in order to be interviewed for a firefighter/EMS position with the department. (Russ Dillingham/Staff Photographer)
