Grayson Bernard scored 13 of Lewiston’s 30 points in the fourth quarter to help the Blue Devils earn a 65-62 win over Gray-New Gloucester in a boys basketball game on Saturday in Gray.

Bernard, who added 10 points in the third quarter, finished with 27 for Lewiston (7-3). Joao Samba added 12. 

Kaleb D’Andrea scored 26 points, Quentin Warrick added 16 and Carter Corson chipped in 13 for Gray-New Gloucester (3-8). 

EDWARD LITTLE 73, OXFORD HILLS 46: Akol Maiwen scored 26 points and the Eddies (8-3) beat the Vikings (2-0) in Auburn. 

Chan Ring added 18 points, including seven in the first quarter when Edward Little jumped out to a 26-7 lead. Cedric Makelele chipped in 10 points. 

Cam Pulkinnen scored 20 points for Oxford Hills.

FOREST HILLS 81, RANGELEY 60: Jaxson Desjardins scored 27 points and surpasses 1,000 for his career to lift the Tigers (8-3) to a win over the Lakers (1-9) in Rangeley.

Aaden Nadeau added 24 points and Maddox Cuddy had 12 for Forest Hills. 

Sam Morrill scored 22 points, while Kaleb Thompson had 17 points and 10 rebounds for Rangeley. Keegan O’Neil added 10 rebounds. 

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 65, MADISON 43: Cai Dougher scored 16 points and Dylan Jewett added 15 as the Phoenix (8-2) beat the Bulldogs (5-3) in Jay.

Owen Kelvey added 10 points for Spruce Mountain, which won its eighth straight game. 

Tyshawn Hall scored 18 points for Madison.

MT. BLUE 60, MESSALONSKEE 26: Evan Drake led the Cougars (7-3) with 22 points and Cam Norton finished with 10 points in a win over the Eagles (1-9) in Farmington.

Anderson Arbour paced Messalonskee with 13 points.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

EDWARD LITTLE 72, OXFORD HILLS 31: Elizabeth Galway scored 21 points and the Red Eddies (10-1) jumped out to a 31-5 lead after the first quarter to beat the Vikings (1-10) in Paris. 

Charlotte Ranger added 16 points and Jenna Shea had 10 for Edward Little. 

Karol Rolfe scored nine points for Oxford Hills. 

MARANACOOK 51, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 13: Celia Bergdahl scored 15 points to lead the Black Bears (8-3) to a win over the Falcons (2-6) in Readfield.

Jackie Clark scored seven points, while Emily Payne and Alice Ferran each added six points for Maranacook.

Madeleine Brown and Kaylynn Washburn each scored four points for Mountain Valley.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 56, LEWISTON 32: The Patriots jumped out to a 24-10 lead after one quarter and rolled to a victory over the Blue Devils in Lewiston.

Freshman Bryn Gilmore paced Gray-New Gloucester with 19 points, while Abbey Steele added 14 and Ella Kenny 12 points.

Emma Madore was Lewiston’s top scorer with 13 points.

POLAND 47, LAKE REGION 31: Charlotte Grenier’s 15 points paced the Knights in their victory over the Lakers in Naples.

Madison Bosse contributed 12 points and Phoebe Paradis had eight for Poland.

Kathryn Peterson and Samantha Jones each scored eight points for Lake Region.

WINTHROP 43, WAYNFLETE 24: Grace Folsom scored 13 points and the Ramblers (7-3) beat the Flyers (2-7) in South Portland.

Paloma Schair-Cardona scored 17 points for Waynflete.

BOYS HOCKEY

EDWARD LITTLE 4, BANGOR CO-OP 3: Breccan Albert scored one minute into overtime to give the Red Eddies (6-3) a victory over Bangor/Brewer/Skowhegan/Narraguagus (3-3) at Norway Savings Bank Arena in Auburn.

Jaret Powers scored a goal in each of the first two periods for Edward Little. Nolan Heath had a goal and an assist.

Chase Caron scored twice in the first period for Twin Cities, and Philip Moscone scored in the third.

Caden Westhoven made 15 saves to earn the win, while Cody McCue stopped 17 shots for Twin Cities.

PLOG 3, GREELY 0: Luke Lombardi had a goal and an assist for Poland/Leavitt/Oak Hill/Gray-New Gloucester (6-1-1) in the win over the Rangers (2-7) at Norway Savings Bank Arena in Auburn.

Jaxson Booker and Tyler Mates also scored. Kullen Ormberg and Hunter Landry had an assist.

GIRLS HOCKEY

EDWARD LITTLE/LEAVITT/POLAND/OXFORD HILLS 4, BRUNSWICK 1: Kylie Dulec had three goals and an assists in Edward Little/Leavitt/Poland/Oxford Hills (10-1) win over the Dragons (6-6) at Sid Watson Arena in Brunswick.

Sophia Drouin added a goal and two assists for the Red Hornets. Leksi Langevin had an assist on all four goals.

Solveig Ledwick scored in the third period for Brunswick.

PENOBSCOT 6, GREELY/GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Isabelle Brideau had three goals and an assist to lead the Pioneers (5-6) past the Rangers (1-11) at Penobscot Ice Arena in Brewer.

Abbie Derosier made 15 saves for Penobscot. Charley Louie stopped 37 shots for the Greely co-op.
