Leski Langevin recorded a hat trick and Kylie Dulac netted two goals as Edward Little/Leavitt/Poland/Oxford Hills defeated the Penobscot Pioneers 8-0 in a girls hockey game Wednesday at Norway Savings Bank Arena in Auburn.
Khloe Nadeau and Avery Colgna each added a goal an assist, and Myah Cyr also found the back of the net for the Red Hornets (11-1), who have won seven straight and are ranked No. 1 in the Varsity Maine poll.
Edward Little co-op goalie Paige Fecteau made 10 saves for the shutout. Penobscotโs (5-7) Abby Derosier stopped 33 shots.
GREELY/GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 3, YORK/TRAIP/MARSHWOOD/NOBLE 2:ย Kaia Perkins broke a tie midway through the third period as the Rangers (2-11) edged York/Traip/Marshwood/Noble (5-7) at Family Ice Center in Falmouth.
Perkins and Laiken Cooney both recorded a goal and two assists. Lizzy Hein also scored for the Rangers.
The York co-op got goals from Phebe Schroeck and Marlo Elwell.
BOYS HOCKEY
LEWISTON CO-OP 4, BANGOR CO-OP 3: Colton Dionne scored with 34 seconds remaining in the third period to give Lewiston/Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse (6-2-1) a victory over Bangor/Brewer/Skowhegan/Narraguagus (3-4) at The Colisee in Lewiston.
Austin Landry, who set up the game winner, netted two first-period goals. Parker Crafts scored in the middle frame for the Blue Devils.
The Titans got three second period goals, from Chase Caron, Peyton Griffin (one assist) and Philip Moscone.
Lewiston goalie Kai Stockford stopped 16 shots, and Cody McCue made 15 saves in the losing effort.

BOYS BASKETBALL
SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 59, WINTHROP 33: The Phoenix (10-2) used a 22-2 surge in the second quarter to pull away from the Ramblers (3-9) in Winthrop.
Dylan Jewett paced Spruce Mountain with 19 points. Cai Dougher scored 13 and Owen Kelvey tossed in 11.
Graham Huri led Winthrop with 15 points.
MT. ABRAM 76, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 68:ย Brennan Mitchell poured in 26 points for the Roadrunners (10-3) in their high-scoring victory over the Falcons (3-7) in Rumford.
Both teams got off to a fast start, combining for 53 points in the first quarter, after which Mt. Abram led 33-20.
Killian Pillsbury contributed 20 points and Chase Ross 14 points to the Roadrunnersโ win. Both players made four 3-pointers.
Mountain Valleyโs Dylan Theraiult also hit four treys and finished with a team-best 24 points. Blake Small added 15 points, Ridge Duguay had 13 and Diquari Thompson scored 10.
MONMOUTH ACADEMY 51, DIRIGO 47:ย The Mustangs overcame a slow start by scoring 38 second-half points to earn an MVC victory over the Cougars in Monmouth.
Levi Laverdiere was an impressive 11 of 12 from the free-throw line in an 18-point performance for Monmouth (6-4). Tyler Day added 12 points, while Gavin Parsons had 11.
Owen Smith poured in a game-high 27 points for Dirigo (6-5). Liam Malchisky added 10 points.
RICHMOND 48, TELSTAR 35:ย The Bobcats outscored the Rebels 17-4 in the fourth quarter to notch their first victory of the season, in Richmond.
David Edwards had 22 points and 10 rebounds to lead Richmond (1-9). Leeum Dufresne added nine points and three steals.
Cooper Morgan scored 10 points for Telstar (3-9).
POLAND 72, FREEPORT 50:ย The Knights (6-5) put an end to a three-game skid by defeating the Falcons (2-9) in Freeport.
Nick Jamo scored 20 points and Jake Jamo added 19 for Poland. The Knights also got 11 points from Lucas Verrill and 10 from Alex Mains.
Ben Albertini scored 12 points for Freeport.
MARANACOOK 57, LISBON 48:ย Jack Fontaine led the Black Bears (9-4) with 19 points and Gage Mattson scored 13 in the win over the Greyhounds (6-5) in Lisbon.
Owen Hurd dropped in 18 points for Lisbon, and Nolan Parker added nine.
OAK HILL 63, BOOTHBAY 39:ย Bradyn New poured in 28 points for the Raiders (7-4) in their decisive victory over the Seahawks (3-9) in Wales.
New, who shot 9 of 11 from the free-throw line, spread out his points, scoring six in the first quarter, eight in the second, eight in the third and six in the fourth.
Braden Dubuc added 11 points for Oak Hill. Keeghan Morrissette scored nine and PJ Smith had eight points.
Simeon Bates was Boothbayโs top scorer with 10 points.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
RICHMOND 35, TELSTAR 24: The Bobcats (2-8) started the game on a 10-0 run as they defeated the visiting Rebels (1-11), snapping an eight-game losing streak.
Aubrey Swift scored 12 points to lead Richmond (2-8). Kaelyn Brillant added 10 points.
