Landyn Beretta scored the go-ahead goal on a power play midway through the third period as Scarborough earned a 3-2 win over Lewiston/Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse in a boys hockey game Monday at The Colisee in Lewiston.

Beretta also tied the game 1-1 in the first period, and Matthew Brown’s short-handed tally later in the period gave Scarborough (4-2-1) a 2-1 lead. Red Storm goalie Bryce Bellerose made 19 saves.

Jacoby Oliveira scored in the first period and Aizyk Laliberte got a second-period goal for the Blue Devils (6-3-1). Kai Stockford made 20 saves for Lewiston, which is ranked No. 4 in the Varsity Maine poll.

MESSALONSKEE 3, POLAND/LEAVITT/GRAY-NG/OAK HILL 2: Christian Salvadori scored an unassisted goal early in overtime as the Eagles (8-2) knocked off Poland/Leavitt/Gray-New Gloucester/Oak Hill at Jack Kelley Rink in Waterville.

Denny Martin potted two goals for Messalonskee, while Tatum Doucette and Logan Baron added two assists.

Kullen Ormberg and Tyler Mates scored for the Kings.

Eagles goalie Nathan Kirk made 16 saves. Logan Rousseau stopped 24 shots for the Kings.

CONY CO-OP 3, HAMPDEN CO-OP 2: Cooper Clark scored and notched two assists for Cony/Monmouth/Erskine/Mt. Blue/Hall-Dale/Maranacook/Spruce Mountain/Winthrop (8-2) in a win over Hampden/Ellsworth/MDI/Nokomis (6-4) at Sawyer Arena in Bangor.

Kyle Lepage and Jackson Wing each added a goal an assist.

Wyatt Allen and Aiden MacFarline scored for the Broncos.

Caleb Morgan stopped 14 shots for the Cony co-op, and Aiden Surran made 24 saves for the Hampden Academy co-op.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

MT. ABRAM 42, MONMOUTH ACADEMY 37: Jenna Osgood led all scorers with 16 points for the Roadrunners (11-2) in a win over the Mustangs (5-6) in Monmouth.

Abby McCarty chipped in with 10 points.

Sophia Ennis scored 11 points for Monmouth.

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 45, LISBON 22: The Falcons (3-9) used a 17-3 run in the second quarter to pull away from the Greyhounds (2-10) in Rumford.

Madison Blanchard led Mountain Valley with 15 points. Maddy Brown was right behind with 14.

Liz Ferero paced Lisbon with 12 points.

BOYS BASKETBALL

LEAVITT 61, GREELY 42: Colin Schlobohm paced the Hornets (9-4) with 22 points, seven rebounds, five assists and five steals in a win over the Rangers (4-9) in Cumberland.

Darren Flagg dropped in 18 points, while Brody Poland recorded a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds for Leavitt.

Reid Hartford led Greely with 16 points, and Rocky Axelson finished with 12.
