Abby Luczynski made five 3-points and scored 21 points to lead the Dirigo girls basketball team to a 45-23 victory over rival Mountain Valley in a Class C South regular season finale Thursday in Dixfield.

The Cougars (9-9) will enter the Class C South tournament as the No. 7 seed and will host a preliminary-round game against No. 10 Traip Academy.

Chloe Brown and Maddy Brown both scored seven points for the Falcons (5-13).

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 69, LISBON 12: Lily Bellerose made five 3-pointers and finished with 32 points as the Phoenix (17-1) earned their eighth straight win by beating the Greyhounds (2-16) in Lisbon.

Spruce Mountain enters the Class C South playoffs as the No. 1 seed.

Natasha McDonald added 13 points for the Phoenix.

Liz Ferero scored 10 points for Lisbon.

BOYS BASKETBALL

MT. BLUE 64, OXFORD HILLS 28: Cooper Abell made five 3-pointers, all in the first half, and finished with 15 points as the Cougars (10-8) ended the regular season with a win over the Vikings (4-14) in Farmington.

Evan Drake also scored 15 points for Mt. Blue, which will be the No. 8 seed in the Class A North playoffs.

Cam Pulkkinen led Oxford Hills with 11 points.

CONY 65, LEAVITT 62: Jackson Kay and Carter Brathwaite paced the Rams’ (16-2) offense with 20 and 19 points, respectfully, in a victory over the Hornets (11-7) in Turner.

Ian Lasselle chipped in with 13 points for Cony. The Rams enter the Class B North tournament as the top seed.

Leavitt’s Colin Schlobohm led all scorers with 24 points, while Jacob Gibbs finished with 16 points and Darren Flagg dropped in 10 points. The Hornets will be the fifth seed in Class B South.

UNIFIED BASKETBALL

POLAND 60, LEAVITT 56: The Knights defeated the Hornets in a tightly contested contest in Poland.

Ryan Morse paced a balanced Poland attack with 14 points, while Noel Jordan chipped in 10 and Jacob Fogg and Jorden Spring each scored eight points.

Leavitt’s Everest Comeau-Waile finished with a game-high 28 points, and Colby Stetson and Isaiah Cluff each scored 14 points.
