I was impressed by the Olympic opening ceremonies on Friday, Feb. 6, in Milan, Italy. The opening remarks spoke of peace, cooperation, support and achieving the best of each individual. What inspiring remarks. It also highlighted the juxtaposition between the Olympic goal and the daily Truth Social rantings and attempts by our current administration to whitewash the actions of pedophiles, racial profiling of our citizens and trashing of our allies while justifying our antagonist’s expansionist goals.
How have we spiraled into this quagmire of deceit and corruption? The way out is with one of the constitutional rights left to us: the vote. We have one candidate here who has a proven track record of standing up to this corrupt individual: Gov. Janet Mills. Vote for change and decency in November.
