I cannot say enough about volunteering. Oftentimes, these positions can lead to a paid job if you’re interested, you will certainly make new friends and may even join forces with someone you already know. The most important thing is that you will be helping others in myriad ways. Yes, YOU could make a big difference in someone’s experience, day, and even their life.

Barnes & Noble and Walmart also carries them. If you have a local bookstore you like to patronize and the books aren’t on the shelves there, just ask them to order the books you’d like for you … and check out your local library if you have favorite older titles you want to revisit. There are always new volumes coming down the pipeline so if you need something to make you smile, or a sweet gift for someone else, these books are always a good choice.
