LEWISTON — The Maine Gladiators bantam hockey travel team shut out Rochester, N.H., 5-0, at Androscoggin Bank Colisee.

Five different players scored to show the Gladiators’ balance. Kyle Lussier, Tyler O’Conner and Austin Roy had goals in a dominant first period. The action slowed slightly in the second period with the lone goal by Nate Granholm. Kyle Ullrich scored in the third.

Griffin Wade had a pair of assists. Kyle Morin, Ben Steele and Jozef Frechette each added one.

Kyle Welsh and Ridge Servidio split time between the pipes.

Next up for the Gladiators are home games against the Biddeford Breakers and Maine Moose. The Breakers beat the Gladiators 4-0 last time, while the L-A team split two previous meetings with the Moose.
