RANGELEY — The Wilhelm Reich Museum will host another “Sky Program” on Monday, Jan. 9. Using an 8SE NexStar Computerized Telescope, participants will learn about the telescope, filters and lenses; and view planets, stars and the moon.

They will also learn about the constellations and how to view the night sky with binoculars.

The program takes place outdoors in the cold so participants need to dress warm, which means dress in layers, two pairs of mittens, two pairs of stockings, a hooded parka, insulated boots and a warm scarf.

The best time to view the night sky is in winter. Peter Christensen will start the program off with a talk about “how to stay warm outside.”

People are urged to bring binoculars and lawn chairs, because the museum has a limited supply.

The program, geared to all ages, will run from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the museum’s  conference center on Dodge Pond Road. Admission is free. For more information, call 864-3443.
