RUMFORD — A funeral service celebrating the life of Edward L. Plourde Sr. was held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 27, at S.G. Thibault Funeral Home. The Rev. Philip Tracy officiated. Military honors were rendered by the Maine Funeral Honor Guard. Spring interment will be in St. John Cemetery. A reception followed at the American Legion. Services were under the care and guidance of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
