LEWISTON — L/A Arts hosted the opening reception for Tree Street Youth’s Community Gallery Opening at L/A Arts, 221 Lisbon St., on March 2. Lewiston. Young artists and community members shared in an evening of  drawings, portraits and sculpture.

The Emerging Artists Community Gallery Exhibit at L/A Arts is Tree Street Youth’s first public art presentation. Youth artists shared their work with their families and visiting community members. Artists showcased and explained their work.

Tree Street Youth supports the youth of Lewiston-Auburn through academics, the arts and athletics. They provide Lewiston-Auburn youth with a safe space that encourages healthy physical, social, emotional and academic development while building unity across lines of difference.
