LEWISTON — The Lewiston Winter Farmers Market, in honor of St. Patrick’s Day, will be “puttin’ on the green” at the Thursday, March 15, indoor farmers market.

The market continues to provide the community with access to area farmers, producers and artisans with more than 20 vendors offering in-season fruits and vegetables, pastured meats, milk and dairy products, artisan cheeses and breads, baked goods, seafood, prepared meals, sweets, cut flowers, maple products, fiber arts, hand crafted soaps, herbs and herbal products, pottery and art.

Lots To Gardens, a program of the St. Mary’s Nutrition Center, has garden plots available in several community gardens throughout Lewiston and they will be on hand at the March 15, April 19 and May 17 farmers markets for garden plot sign-ups.

The farmers market will be held at the St. Mary’s Nutrition Center, 208 Bates St., from 5 to 7:30 p.m.Thursday. Dinner will be available from the Winter Market Cafe, and music will be provided by Stan Davis.
