WILTON — Holy Week at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church on High Street includes:
* Maundy Thursday, 7 p.m., when congregants recall Jesus’ act of humility at the Last Supper through a foot washing. After Holy Communion the Church is darkened in preparation for Good Friday.
* Good Friday, noon, Farmington Area Ecumenical Service held at Henderson Memorial Baptist Church. St. Luke’s participates in the service.
* Good Friday, 7 p.m., Wilton Ecumenical Good Friday Service at Wilton United Methodist Church, St. Luke’s participates in this service.
* Easter Bread Sale, Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon in St. Luke’s Church undercroft. Pre-orders may be called into the church office at 645-2639.
* Great Vigil of Easter, Saturday, 8 p.m., Beginning in a darkened Church the Vigil celebrates Christ’s resurrection through light, scripture, Easter hymns, renewal of baptismal vows, and Holy Communion.
* Easter Sunrise Service, Sunday, 6 a.m., at Voter Hill, Farmington St. Luke’s participates in this annual Farmington tradition on Voter Hill.
* Easter Festival Eucharist, Sunday, 9:30 a.m. A joyous celebration of Easter. The public is welcome to join church members for the service and an Easter Egg Hunt for the children and the Easter Bake Sale immediately after worship Easter Sunday.
