The 27th annual Beaver Park Fishing Derby will be held from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 6, at Middle Pond in Lisbon. All participants must be 15 years old or younger and parents must accompany children. Parents who will be helping small children fish do need a valid fishing license. Registration for the derby will be the morning of the derby between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. The event is free. Prizes will be awarded. For more information, call Verla Brooks at 353-9075.
