FARMINGTON — The Franklin County Budget Advisory Committee will decide today what areas of the proposed $5.29 million county budget for 2012-13 they want to take a closer look at.
That figure includes all departments’ requests for money. The only item missing is the first payment on a proposed new dispatch center. Each town will vote on it June 12.
Franklin County commissioners reviewed the spending proposal and trimmed $34,996 from it. The budget committee meets at 4:30 p.m. today at the county courthouse for the meeting.
The spending plan includes $1.6 million to operate the jail.
