AUBURN — Alice Y. Fournier, 88, of Lisbon passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 9.

She was born in Lewiston, June 24, 1923, a daughter of the late Mathias and Odelie (Parent) Bisson. She was a stay at home mom, a fantastic baker, and a wonderful grandmother. Alice dedicated her life to raising her five children, a job she truly loved.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, and keeping her sons in line. She was a member of Holy Trinity Church in Lisbon Falls. Alice leaves behind her three sons, Lucien Fournier and his wife Jeanne, of East Waterboro, Larry Fournier and his companion, Helen Rideout, of Lisbon and Normand Fournier and his wife, Diane, of Lisbon Falls; a daughter, Monique Gunter and her husband, Mark, of Lisbon; two sisters, Laurette Moore of Lisbon and Theresa Mathieu of Lewiston; a brother, Ovila Bisson and his wife, Armande, of Lewiston; Alice has 13 surviving grandchildren, Matina Lerette, Michelle Link, Eddie Fournier, Jessica Maloy, Megan Fournier, Jason Fournier, Katie Tinkham, Andrew Watson Jr., Kevin Fournier, Jared Fournier, Kyle Fournier, Brett Fournier and Christopher Watson; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Alice was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Fern; and her son, Raymond Fournier.
