A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Linwood Giberson Jr. was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 24, at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Alfred Jacques was the celebrant. Bernard Poirier was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Let There Be Peace On Earth,” “Hosea,” “Valley of Green” and “Fly Like a Bird.” The Old Testament was proclaimed by J.J. Freeman. The New Testament was proclaimed by Sharon Capponi. Offertory gifts were presented by Bob and Carol Parise. Personal reflections were shared by Tracy Parise. Pallbearers were Linwood Giberson III, J.J. Freeman, Jacob Parise and Jacob Giberson. Interment was in St. John Cemetery. A reception was held at the Snowshoe Club. Services were under the care and guidance of SG Thibault Funeral Home 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
