SOUTH PARIS — Joseph R. Robichaud, 85, of Auburn died Monday, May 28, at the Maine Veterans Home.
He was born in Auburn on Sept. 5, 1926, the son of Efrem and Yvette Delbar Robichaud. He attended school in Three Rivers, Canada.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and then worked at Bates Mills.
He was an avid golfer and a member of the Minot United Methodist Church. Joseph was also a member of Nina Rebekah Lodge No. 86 in Lisbon, Sassppa Oddfellows No. 11 in Westbrook, Worumbus Canton No. 13 in Auburn. He also served as the Past Noble Grand for the Rebekah’s, Past Noble Grand for the Oddfellows, Past District Deputy Grandmaster and Past Commander of Worumbus Canton No. 13.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; two daughters Linda Goulet and husband, George, of Lewiston, and Kim Geyer and husband, Todd, of Bradford, Mass.; a stepson, Gary Keene of Litchfield; two stepdaughters, Carrie Jarvis of Auburn and Marilyn Storman of Brunswick; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; a stepgranddaughter ,Amanda Anderson; two great-stepgrandchildren, Erin and Seth Anderson; a stepgranddaughter, Jennifer Billings and fiance, David Siegler, of Hebron; a great-stepgrandson, Seth Billings of Hebron.
He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Rosiare and Roland Robichaud; a son, Robert Robichaud; and a grandson, Robert Robichaud, II.
