RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of John W. Wyman was celebrated Wednesday at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Philip Tracy was the celebrant. Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Be Not Afraid,” “Because The Lord Is My Shepherd,” “How Great Thou Art” and “Amazing Grace.” The Old Testament was presented by his grandson, Scott J. Wyman. The New Testament was presented by his grandson, Jerod L. Wyman. Offertory Gifts were presented by his grandchildren, Danielle Wyman and Justin Wyman. Personal reflections were shared by his son, Jim Wyman. Bearers were James Wyman, Jerry Wyman, John Wyman and Scott Wyman. Military Honors were rendered by the Maine Funeral Honor Guard. Interment was at St. John Cemetery. A reception followed at 49 Franklin. Services were under the care and guidance of SG Thibault Funeral Home.
