AUBURN — Auburn Parks and Recreation Department will host the Eddies Youth Football Camp on Saturday, August 4.
The goal of the camp is to prepare childen for participation in the fall football programs through instruction in the proper fundamentals, skills and techniques. The staff is committe to maintaining a fun-filled program with an emphasis on mutual respect among participants and coaches.
All participants should arrive 15 minutes before start time and come prepared for a full four hours of active instruction.
This is not a contact camp. The only equipment needed are comfortable clothing, sneakers or cleats and a water bottle. Camp shirts will be issued.
Camp will be held at Walton Field on Seventh Street, rain or shine. The event is open to students entering grades one through eight and will run from 8 a.m. to noon.
Registration is underway from now through August 3. Fee is $15 for residents and $25 for non-residents. You may register in person at Hasty Community Center in Pettengill Park or go online to www.teamsideline.com/auburnme and click on the online program registration link.
