On Thursday, July 19, L/A Arts’ “Sounds of Summer” concert series will feature the Appalachian-inspired string band sounds of fiddlers/singers Brittany Haas and Lauren Rioux. The second of six free concerts will take place from noon to 1 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn, 14 Great Falls Plaza, Auburn. Haas of the Crooked Still band and Rioux of Darol Anger’s Republic of Strings perform emotion-filled music that is harmonically progressive. Rain site: Great Falls View Room, Hilton Garden Inn.
