TURNER — Sign up now for the remaining classes in the Summer Program sponsored by SAD 52 Adult & Community Education that start Aug. 6.

Photography Camp: Campers ages 7-14 will get creative and improve their picture taking skills with their point and shoot digital camera. Technical info will be shared in small doses and combined with hands-on practice to get campers excited about photography. Students will need to bring a digital camera.

Rock Camp: Students 9-12 will learn the difference between metamorphic rock and igneous rock, the difference between a mineral and rock, and more.

Substitute training: This workshop will provide info about SAD 52 school expectations, teacher’s lesson plans and assertive discipline. The course is one step in the substitute teacher registration process for the district. A high school diploma is required and college degree preferred. Registration required.
