Stephens High Class of 1950

MEXICO — The Stephens High School Class of 1950 is invited to meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 20, at the Covered Wagon.

Library adopts Army Unit

DIXFIELD — Ludden Memorial Library has decided to adopt an Army Unit in Afghanistan. There will be a display at the library, and pictures of the troop.

Some of the most commonly requested items are beef jerky, Slim Jims, powder drink mix such as Gatorade, Kool-Aid and Crystal Light, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, tuna and chicken salad in foil pouches or ready-to-eat kits not cans, protein powder and protein bars, lip balm, eye drops, Q-Tips and baby wipes.

A full list of items will be posted in the display. Any money collected will help to pay for shipping.
