LIVERMORE– Kirk Raynard Lovewell, 51, died unexpectedly on Friday, Aug. 24, at his farm on River Road in Livermore.

He was born on Feb. 8, 1961 in Lewiston, the son of Raymond Lovewell Sr. and Joyce (Holt) Lovewell. Kirk was a 1979 graduate of Livermore Falls High School and continued his education at Central Maine Technical College for welding. He had worked at Bath Iron Works and the Lovewell family farm. The farm was his life, he enjoyed the daily chores, milking cows, tending to the calves, horses and a variety of other farm animals, mowing the lawns, mending fences and whatever else that needed to be attended to.

His pride and joy were his grandchildren, that all referred to him as “Grandfather.” Kirk loved having his grandchildren and his great-nieces and great-nephews around the farm, enjoying the time he got to spend with them. He also liked fishing, ice fishing with his girls, duck and partridge hunting with his dog Leaf, handcarving his own duck decoys and hunting deer and other wild game.

He is survived by his parents, Raymond and Joyce Lovewell of Livermore; four daughters, Brianne Lovewell and her fiancé, Eric Hodgkins, of Livermore Falls, Brooke Williams and her husband, Lance, also of Livermore Falls, Chelsea Walker and her husband, Jonathan Walker Jr., and Chloe Lovewell, all of North Carolina; two sons, Brandon Lovewell and partner, Chanel Peacock, of Jay and Kierlan “Buzz” Lovewell of Livermore Falls; nine grandchildren, Tristen Begin, Trevor Haynes, Lauren Hodgkins, Sasha, Isaiha and Kaiden Williams, Evan Lovewell and Kaylee and Emma Walker; five brothers, Raymond “Scott” Lovewell of Livermore; Stan “Moose” Lovewell and his wife, Vickie, of Livermore, Arlen Lovewell and his wife, Terri, of Ashland, David Lovewell and his wife, Jill, and Daren Lovewell, also of Livermore.
