BERWICK, Maine (AP) — Police are looking for a man dressed as a woman who robbed a bank in Berwick, Maine.

Authorities say the Kennebunk Savings Bank was robbed at noon on Friday.

The robber is described as having long brown hair and wearing a red hooded sweat shirt, pink pants and white sneakers, and carrying a black and white checkered purse. Police say the suspect also had white surgical tape on the knuckles of both hands.

The Portland Press Herald (bit.ly/Qqfo4Q) reports that witnesses say they believe the suspect was a man dressed as a woman.
