LISBON — The town is looking for the oldest resident to award them the Gold Post Cane, Town Clerk Twila Lycette said.

Since 1986, four of the six past recipients were presented the cane at age 100: Gladys Currie in 1993, Mary Rioux in 2002, Flora D’Amour in 2002 and Lora French in 2005. French lived to be 105.

Residents between the ages of 95 and 100 are encouraged to submit their name, date of birth and a brief biography to Lycette at Lisbon Town Office, 300 Lisbon St., Lisbon, ME 04250.
