LEWISTON — A memorial Mass honoring the life of Florence St Pierre was celebrated by the Rev. Aaron Damboise Friday at Holy Family Church of the Prince of Peace Parish. Florence’s daughter, Claudette Roy carried her mother’s urn to the altar to begin Mass. The first reading was read by longtime family friend, Dolly Long, and the second reading was read by Florence’s niece, Connie Hitchcock.The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Florence’s grandson, Brian Roy, and Florence’s two great-grandsons, Benjamin Forbush and Alex Richards. Words of remembrance were then shared by Florence’s granddaughter, Lisa Forbush. Also in attendance was a delegation of the Ladies of St. Anne of Holy Family Church that Florence had been a longtime member. Following a procession to St. Peter’s Cemetery, Father Damboise recited committal prayers which concluded services.
