As a high school senior, I am paying extra attention to the election. Everyone knows about the president and Senate, but few pay attention to state representative.

I remember Larry Poulin serving on the Lewiston School Committee and giving my older brother his diploma at graduation. He also served on the City Council.

He has worked very hard for the people of Lewiston and he understands what people my age need in both educational and employment opportunities.

I hope to find a job in Lewiston, after I graduate from college, that will pay enough to help me repay student loans. Poulin knows what students need to get a quality, affordable education. He also knows what employers are looking for and can bring jobs to Lewiston.

I am too young to vote, so I will have to rely on others to elect Larry Poulin as our next state representative.
