LIVERMORE FALLS — Selectmen reappointed two residents to the Budget Committee and are seeking four more to complete the nine-member board.
Reappointed to three-year terms Monday were Carmen Cullen and George Cummings.
The board needs five members to have a quorum for a meeting and there are currently only five members on the board, Town Manager Kristal Flagg said.
There are four vacant positions.
In another matter, Flagg welcomed back landfill attendant Carroll Bowie who had been out due to illness.
“We’re glad to have him back,” she said.
Flagg also thanked the people who filled in for him while he was out.
Flagg also updated the board on a three-town fire department food drive held Sunday in Jay, Livermore and Livermore Falls.
About 1,900 pounds of food was donated and $400 in cash, she said. The food and donations will go to the Tri-Town Ministerial Food Cupboard in Livermore Falls that serves all three towns.
