FARMINGTON — Sophomore center Addie Brinkman notched a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds to lead Mt. Blue to a 49-30 triumph over Oxford Hills in KVAC girls’ basketball action Friday.

The Cougars (3-1) went on a tear in the third quarter, outscoring Oxford Hills 22-2 in the frame. Gabby Foy contributed 12 points on a pair of 3’s and six free throws for Mt. Blue.

Senior forward Alex Rowe led the Vikings with eight points in the losing effort.

Greely 51, Poland 44

POLAND — Jaclyn Storey popped in 19 points to lead Greely past Poland 51-44 in girls’ basketball Friday night.

Ashley Storey added 16 for the Rangers (5-1) who overcame a 29-24 halftime deficit to pull out the win.

Michaella Arsenault led the Knights (3-3) with 23 points, while Emily Bolduc chipped in with 17 points, including 15 from beyond the 3-point arc.

St. Dom’s 45, Wiscasset 30

AUBURN — Faith Grady tossed in 21 points while Kelly Pomerleau added 13 as St. Dom’s defeated Wiscasset 45-30 in girls’ basketball action Friday night.

Brianna Gourd paced Wiscasset (2-2) with eight points.

She also hauled down eight rebounds and blocked four shots. With the win, the Saints raise their record to 3-1.
