LEWISTON — Dante Anthony Bailey, 21, of Lewiston, Feb. 2.
He was born Oct. 17, 1991, in Lewiston, to Tonya Bailey-Curry and Chad Hollingsworth.
Dante played Lewiston High School varsity football, and track and field.
He is survived by his mother, Tonya Bailey-Curry; father, Chad Hollingsworth; stepfather, Al Curry Jr.; confidant, Cory Storer; siblings, Dominique Bailey, Rashonda Bailey, Ronnie Turner, Ace Curry, Chad Hollingsworth Jr. and Xavier; grandparents, James Thomas, Kevin Blazer and Cindy Storer-Blazer; aunts, Tifany Boyd and Rosa Storer; uncles, Ritchie Storer and Johnny Boyd; cousins, Timika and Tenessa Thomas, Johnny Boyd III and Rocyris Storer; nephew, Dalonte; and niece, Layla.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Cynthia Thomas of Auburn.
Dante was a kind, thoughtful, gentle soul who was taken from us too soon. He will be remembered for his vivid sense of humor, his way of brightening the room with his smile and his undeniable commitment to the Lewiston Blue Devils and all the coaches and teachers he so deeply cared for.
