LIVERMORE FALLS — A local man was arrested Tuesday on a charge of unlawful sexual contact with a child under the age of 12, police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said Wednesday.
Lt. Thomas Gould arrested Gabriel Wilbur, 22, of Livermore Falls at his residence after police received information Tuesday and launched an investigation, he said.
Wilbur was taken to Androscoggin County Jail in Auburn. He was released Wednesday morning on personal recognizance bail, a corrections officer said.
Steward said Wilbur’s release conditions include no contact with the victim.
