Western Maine Veterans Advisory Committee (WMVAC) recently held a raffle for a basket containing all the fixings for an Easter dinner for four. WMVAC raises money throughout the year to provide activities for residents at the Maine Veterans’ Home in South Paris. Fromm left standing are Joe Cooney, chairman, WMVAC, and Larry Austin, activities staff member; seated, Ardine Pulsifer, resident, drawing the winning ticket. The winner was Lisa Cormier of Dixfield.
