SOUTH PARIS — Thomas Lawton, administrator of Market Square Health Care Center, announces that Cindy James, RN, BSN, has recently been hired as the MDS coordinator for Market Square Health Care Center.

James will provide comprehensive assessment for long term care patients. Assessment is done at set intervals and the MDS coordinator assesses the quality of care and different payment levels for patients.

She has 14 years of experience working in nursing settings. She completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Cedar Crest College in Allentown, Pa., and her master’s degree in education at St. Joseph’s College in Standish.

James lives in West Paris with her two children.
