TURNER — MSAD 52 Adult & Community Education has a variety of classes starting the week of April 8.

Tiny Tot Tumbling Session 2: This beginner’s class for youngsters 3-5 is an introduction to basic mat skills in a structured and fun environment. Stretching, flexibility, strength and control will be emphasized. Warm-up activities, following instructions, taking turns, safety and having fun will be the focus.

Tumbling – Beginner to Advanced Session 2: This class, ages 6-18, is for cheerleaders, acrobats, gymnasts and others wishing to enhance coordination, strength, flexibility and balance while improving and refining tumbling skills. Learn new moves and have fun.

Dog Obedience: Learn how to train your dog to be well mannered and obedient. Topics will include understanding and communicating with your dog, basic obedience commands, leash walking and behavior modification. Non-chain leashes, well-fitting collar and current rabies shots are required.

Simple Security & Maintenance: Learn simple tricks for staying safe online, protecting yourself from identity theft and keeping your PC running smoothly.

Session 2 Zumba Gold, Zumba in Turner & Greene and Zumba & Toning: Shake, shimmy and smile as you burn calories to Latin-infused music.

French and Spanish Session 2: Increase your knowledge of phrases and vocabulary.

Painting Landscapes Session 2: Create your own realistic acrylic masterpiece. Students should bring paints, brushes, pencils and erasers.

Homebuyers 101: Sign up for this one-night class if you’re thinking about purchasing a home for the first time or buying/selling. Topics covered include: how to start the search, required documents, working with a real estate agent, the lending industry, loan products, credit scores and more.

Computers for Seniors Session 2: If you’re a senior citizen and have never used a computer, this class is for you. No skills are required and you’ll learn the basics including the Internet and email over a six-week period.

Cardio Sweat Session 2: A total body workout with dance moves, kicking and punching, and low and high intensity aerobic moves. This class is designed to make you sweat while adding definition. Tighten your trouble spots and get rid of the belly and flabby arms with this fun filled cardio rhythmic program. Wear sneakers and comfy clothes and bring water.

Pilates Session 2: Strengthen your core while increasing flexibility, balance and controlling your weight. Good for all ages, this class is about self-preservation. Students need a yoga mat, towel or a blanket.
