LEWISTON — “The Way We Worked” traveling exhibition from the Smithsonian will end its showing at Museum L-A on May 18. Adapted from an original exhibition developed by the National Archives, the exhibit explores the significance of work in American culture by tracing the many changes that have affected the workforce and work environments throughout history. To connect the local scene with this national exhibit, Museum L-A showcases how music has been an important local industry. Community members share how they and their families work, with photographs and stories contributed for display. The museum is at 35 Canal Street.
