Last year’s record: 9-7

Promising newcomers: Junior — Kelsey Kidd; Sophomores — Mariah Gaboury (FB), Taylor Gaboury (MF), Nichole Tracy (MF), Taylor Harris (FB/MF).
Outlook: The strength of this team will start on the back end, where there are multiple returning starters from a team that was highly-competitive last season. With a wealth of experience, particularly among this year’s junior class, the Cougars will be in the running for a top-half spot in the standings. Paradis already likes how the team looks early in the season, and moving some kids around has helped her balance out the lineup a bit with some experience in some key areas. The only problem this year may be finding enough playing time for all of the talent.
Coach’s comment:
I think we’ll continue to be competitive. We’ve been increasingly competitive in recent years, and we’re definitely trying for a home playoff game this year. The girls know they have to work hard to get there, but we have the potential to do that.” — Coach Jeannine Paradis
