LEWISTON — The Lewiston CareerCenter, 5 Mollison Way, offers many programs in June for job seekers and those who are considering training to upgrade their skills to increase their employability this spring. All CareerCenter services are free of charge.

Workshops and events are held at the CareerCenter unless otherwise noted. To register for sessions held at the CareerCenter, call 753-9005. To learn more, “like” the Lewiston CareerCenter on Facebook. Maine veterans receive priority of service in all CareerCenter programs.

Each week, there will be at least one employer at the CareerCenter that is hiring. Check the Lewiston CareerCenter page at www.mainecareercenter.com for the employers and the exact dates and times in June.

GATEway to Employment — Thursdays, June 6, 20 and 27 and Friday, June 14, 1 to 4 p.m.

Professionals Moving Ahead — First and third Thursday of each month, 9 a.m. to noon.

Job Search Skills — June 17, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Resumes and Interview Skills, Part I — Two sessions: June 13, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the CareerCenter, and June 20, 2 to 5 p.m. at the Auburn Public Library. To register for the Auburn Library session, call 333-6640.

Resumes and Interview Skills, Part II — June 25, 9 to 11 a.m. This new workshop follows up Part I; to register, you must have taken Part I and have a completed resume.

Mock Job Interviews — June 24, 1 to 3 p.m. Registration is required.

Job Search Tips for People with a Criminal History — Monthly, time and day varies.

Career Decision Making — This is a two-part workshop. Two sessions offered; session one is June 10 and June 14, and session two is June 24 and 28. Registration is required.

Orientation for People with Disabilities — June 21, 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Registration not required.
