DIXFIELD — Funeral services for Dexter Dana Eustis were held Wednesday, July 17, at 2 p.m. at the Wiles Remembrance Center, 30 Weld St., Dixfield, with the Rev. Dan Hayes of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Farmington, officiating.
Sister Jackie Hayes was the pianist and the Chorister was Sister Sirie Stinson. The opening hymn was “Nearer, My God to Thee. Willard Hatch offered the invocation. Remembrances were shared by Sonja Godbout and members of the family. Sister Stinson sang “I am a Child of God.” The closing hymn was “Each Life That Touches Ours for Good.” The benediction was given by Sister Waite.
Committal services were held at Greenwood Cemetery, Dixfield. The invocation was given by Owen Morgan, the dedication of the grave by Willard Hatch and military honors were provided by Camp Keyes, Augusta. The closing hymn was “God Be with You ‘Til We Meet Again” and the benediction was given by the Rev. Hayes. The pallbearers were all family members: Mark Clark, Christopher Clark, Mark Eustis, Dexter Eustis, Paul Eustis, Brandon Haggins and Forest Eustis.
Following services, a family reception was held at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, Todd and Joanie Eustis in Phillips.
Arrangements were in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Centers, Dixfield and the Hamlin and Hilbish Funeral Home in Eustis, Fla.
