AUBURN — The Kiwanis Club of Lewiston-Auburn will host local hero Andrew Bilodeau at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, at a special gathering at the Village Inn restaurant. The public is invited.
The 14-year-old Bilodeau rescued a 7-year-old boy from the Androscoggin River earlier this month, passing him to others on shore who resuscitated him.
Bilodeau will receive the Kiwanis Club’s inaugural Local Hero Award. Those who would like to attend the dinner should contact Sarah Glynn Little at 890-7189 or email her at sarah@oxfordhillslaw.com.
