MONMOUTH — Dr. Amanda Angell, DC, announces the opening of Guardian Chiropractic at 6 Blue Road in Monmouth.

The official opening will be Oct. 15.

Dr. Angell is a graduate of Northwestern Health Science University in Bloomington, Minn., with a degree as a doctor of chiropractic medicine. She grew up in Leeds and graduated from Leavitt Area High School in Turner in 2004.

She attended the University of Maine in Orono from 2004-08 and graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in biology. She attended Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas, before transferring to Northwestern, from which she graduated in 2013.

Dr. Angell is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and is being inducted into the Maine Chiropractic Association on Oct. 18.

Guardian Chiropractic hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to noon Fridays. It’s in the former location of Dr. David Varney, DC.
