1957 – 2013

PORTLAND — Sharon E. Huntley-Brown, 56, of Schoolhouse Road in Oxford, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 10, in Portland.

She was born in Lewiston, a daughter of Basil W. and Margaret (Hamlin) Huntley. She graduated from Deering High School in 1974 and the University of Maine in 1976.

She was most recently employed as a medical assistant at CMMC, Internal Medicine.

One of her favorite pastimes was spending time at her family cottage on Mousam Lake in Acton. She especially enjoyed her two dogs, Buffy and Bizzie.

She is survived by two sisters, Patricia Haendler and Will Smith of Somersworth, N.H. and Donna Allen and her husband, William, of Portland. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends, Yvonne and Tim Roberts.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Brown.
