AUBURN — The Rev. Juan Toj, minister from the National Methodist Church of Guatemala, will be the Auburn United Methodist Church guest speaker at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9.
Rev. Toj will present stories of the people from Guatemala and the new clinic at Cunen, Guatemala, that was partially funded by donations from the United Methodist Churches of New England.
A group of 21 United Methodists recently returned from Cunen where they were on a medical and construction mission.
Following Rev. Toj’s presentation, a baked chicken supper will be held, with all the proceeds donated to the Cunen Clinic. The supper will be held at 5 p.m. and the donation asked will be $10 a person.
The presentation and supper are open to the public. The church is located at 439 Park Ave. Call the church office at 782- 3972 if planning to attend the supper.
