The exhibition includes more than 40 works created by 12 USM art students. Each student’s work is based on a self-selected theme ranging from nature in Maine, to rhythm and flow, to a love story between a yeti monster and a sasquatch.
Students participating in the exhibition include Libby Barnett; Justicia Barreiros; Lizz Bishop; Liz Brown; Katie Ann DiPierro; Danny Evarts; Farrin Hanson; Michelle Lessard; Dylan Rohman; Patti Urban; Aubin White; and Jennifer Whitney.
The pieces in the exhibition feature a variety of media, including plain paper, paper painted with watercolors or spray paint, fabric, photos and found objects.
The exhibition is free and open to the public. Hours for the Pope-Cheney Art Studio, Wishcamper Center, are 8 a.m.-10 p.m., Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Friday.
